Wyrd West
My story, Lizard, Black Wizard, and Red Bird is now available in Raconteur Press’ Wyrd West anthology.
They had a lot of submissions for this one, so I’m very pleased my story made the cut, even if it just barely squeaked in.
State of the Doug
There might not be any Elder Scrolls posts for a month or two. My main computer died (water cooler pump broke, hopefully nothing else). I’ve taken on too much non-paying work, so I’m keeping busy, but everything is taking longer than I expected.
For Elder Scrolls stuff, the Morrowind May Modathon is coming up. I am hoping to finally release a fixed master file version of AFFresh and maybe one or two other things. I am working on some collaborations as well, at least one of which is guaranteed to be released. I have three ES related interviews that are sort of in-progress, if slow going (one on my end, the other two on the other end). Once my computer is fixed, I will hopefully get close to finishing one of them, after which I can start posting the rest of the Minutes of the LAHS, which is good for a several weeks of posts. There’s another long piece I’ve been trying to write for ES, which will be good for weeks and weeks of posts if I can finish it.
For non-Elder Scrolls stuff, I have more short stories floating out there. I finally got an official rejection, which makes things feel more comfortable and familiar. It was, however, for a story I thought worked well, so I am looking for another market for it. I might post it here, depending. I am trying to work on some novels, but I’ve taken on too much non-paying work.
Speaking of non-paying work, I am doing a little bit of work for Wayward Realms. There will be a kickstarter for it soon, and I will post a reminder here when it goes live.
